Bible Intensive Internship
With Ronni Hull
“If you are going to wrestle with something, wrestle with the Word until you get a revelation.” - Coco Banov
Do you love reading the Word of God? Do you enjoy finding the original Hebrew and Greek definitions of words used in scripture? Do you love reading out of multiple translations and seeing the scripture through various lenses? The Bible Intensive Internship takes a deep dive into scripture to find the treasures throughout.
You will learn how to:
● Break down scripture and find the root and origin of Hebrew and Greek words
● Use study resources such as concordances and lexicons (i.e. Strong’s Concordance, Thayer's Lexicon)
● Understand how to read the ancient text and recognize patterns such as parallelism
● Spot themes and repetition throughout the Bible
● See scripture through the eyes of the culture of when the books were written
● Find new revelations throughout scripture
The Bible Intensive Interns will meet twice a month to discuss various topics on how to read the biblical text. Interns will also meet with their mentor 1-on-1 twice throughout the year. As an intern, you will be required to work on a project based on your own revelations developed as you “wrestle” with the Word. This could be a sermon, a Bible study, or another creative way to share your revelation.
There are many resources that are not required but recommended for this internship:
● Strong’s Concordance
● Thayer’s Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament
● The Brown-Driver-Briggs Hebrew and English Lexicon
● Logos Bible Software
● Blue Letter Bible App
● Having multiple translations of the Bible
“His passion is to remain true to the Word of “I AM,” meditating day and night on the true revelation of light. He will be standing firm like a flourishing tree planted by God’s design, deeply rooted by the brooks of bliss, bearing fruit in every season of life. He is never dry, never fainting, ever blessed, ever prosperous.” Psalms 1:2-3 tPt
On-Demand students will have access to the recorded sessions and meet with their mentor at a separate time to discuss the sessions and answer any questions.
