Digital Creatives Internship

Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good...Gen 1:31

We are made in the image of God. As such, a call to creativity is placed on our lives because we bear the creative characteristics of God. We are made to use our God-given creativity to cultivate the potential of the creation around us. God created the world out of nothing, and we are called to create something out of that which exists. God is the creator, and we are His masterpiece by which He imparts us to be co-creators, co laborers, and co heirs w/ Christ.

Answering the call to creativity requires a shift in the way we view the gospel and our role in transforming culture. The finished work of the Cross provides the framework for this change in thinking.

Creativity and creative skill are God-given gifts. In Exodus 35:35 we are told that “The Lord has given [His people] special skills as engravers, designers, embroiderers in blue, purple, and scarlet thread on fine linen cloth, and weavers. They excel as craftsmen and as designers.” God filled the artisans and craftspeople of Israel with skill; He inspired their artistic designs and invited them to follow in His footsteps, creating things that served as a testament to the majesty of the Lord.

Digital Creatives are being used to promote the Good News of the Gospel and disciple others to minister like Jesus in the digital space, using corresponding technologies as invitations to have their own encounter with God and fall in love with Jesus Christ.

Some Creative Expressions of ‘Digital Creatives’ include but are not limited to - Illustrated Art- Spoken Word - AudioPodcasting/Video Podcasting - Graphic Art- CGI thru AI- Photography - Poetry - Music..

When we engage with our creative side we glorify God by the things He equips and inspires us to make. Creativity then is an act of worship. And this is so important—the process of creating is itself valuable, apart from that which we create.
